Dr. Cichra

Dr. Cichra has been practicing holistic veterinary medicine on both large and small animals since 2007 in the Central Florida area.

Dr. Cichra completed her doctorate inveterinary medicine and surgery at the University of Florida in Gainesville, Fl and has also graduated from the Chi Institute of Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine in Reddick, Fl. The Chi Institute is recognized as the leading veterinary continuing education provider of Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine ( TCVM). Furthermore, Dr. Cichra has also been certified to perform animal chiropractic from the only nationally accredited chiropractic school ‘The Healing Oasis Wellness Center’ in Wisconsin.

Dr. Cichra has always been an animal lover and after graduating from UF realized her passion lies in providing holistic healing options to large and small animals. Dr. Cichra is passionate about teaching Moms and Dads how to give their pet a more natural lifestyle. When Dr. Cichra is not in the clinic, you can find her spending time with her three beautiful daughters that keep her busy! She also enjoys horseback riding and taking care of her small farm in Oviedo, Fl. Dr Cichra has a passion for photography, traveling, and spending time with her wonderful family when she is not in the clinic. She shares her home and her farm with her dogs, cats, horses, chickens, ducks, geese, rabbits, guinea hens, and bearded dragon.

Andrea D.

Practice Manager

Andrea started at HVC in March of 2021 and became our Practice Manager in March of 2022. Her favorite parts of her job are leading our team of amazing ladies and seeing all of the animals we are able to help with TCVM, she has a strong passion for natural pet care and educating pet owners on the importance of whole food nutrition. Andrea has been in the vet field since 2019, with a lifetime of equine experience. She has shown horses competitively most of her life, and even competed for the Hunt-Seat team at Stetson University. Andrea enjoys spending her free time enjoying the Florida weather with her friends and family, and taking care of her small farm where she has horses, donkeys, dogs, cats and tortoises!

Kayla S.

Veterinary Receptionist

Kayla started here at HVC in March of 2024, and it has felt like home to her ever since! She has been in veterinary medicine for nine years now and has truly found her passion. Helping both clients and patients navigate learning a holistic lifestyle has continued to bring so much fulfillment into her life. Seeing the patients’ smiling faces when they enter the clinic is, in her opinion, the BEST part of her job. She enjoys all animals, but horses have always had a special place in her heart. She is also the loving owner of her dog Clementine and her bunny Penelope. When she is enjoying her time outside of the clinic, Kayla likes to be in nature, go antiquing, and spend time with her family and friends.

Monica G.

Veterinary Technician

Monica has been in the veterinary field for over 14 years, working in many different positions. She was with Holistic Veterinary Care for 7 years and was our practice manager for several years before a leave of absence to start her family. Now she is back as one of our technicians! Monica has always loved working in vet med and helping her patients while building lasting relationships with her clients, but particularly loves the attention to detail and remarkable results seen in holistic and alternative therapies. Monica has shared her home with dogs and cats over the years and has a lifetime experience with horses. In her spare time, Monica enjoys spending time with her 2 daughters and husband, baking, gardening, camping, spending time in nature, and reading.

Nomy P.

Veterinary Technician

Nomarys (AKA Nomy) started at HVC in May of 2024 and became our Lead Veterinary Technician in August of the same year. She has been working with animals since 2017 and entered the veterinary field in 2021 and hasn’t looked back since! Nomy truly has a passion for animal care, and it shows with how much love and care she has for all of our patients. In her spare time, she enjoys playing video games, reading, anything nature related, as well as spending time with her Pitbull, Meleys, and her long-haired kitty, Oreo.

Rachel B.

Veterinary Technician

Rachel joined the HVC team in March of 2025! She is a sophomore at the University of Central Florida, where she is majoring in Biology on the Pre-Veterinary track. Having always had a strong passion for animals, Rachel began working with animals around a year ago. Since joining HVC, she’s been excited to learn more about TCVM and is very happy to be a part of such a welcoming and supportive team. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys spending her free time baking, going to the beach, and spending time with her friends!
